Calender Illustrations for RARE Indonesia

I once tried to make experiment in making a calender. I used my old illustration for my only a month calender in 2013. Then suddenly a couple days later, an old friend from RARE Indonesia called and asked me for making a calender for his organization. What a coincidence. And here I- for the first time- made 14 illustrations for 2014 RARE Indonesia calender. The theme of the calender was marine conservation and described the local community in preserving their marine area.

Indonesian Encyclopedia of animals illustration

This is my first time full illustration encyclopedia book and also my third encyclopedia book.  The first book was combination of text and photographs and the second one illustrated by other illustrators. I used my favorite color, acrylic color and corel draw for all of the illustration. The book itself consisted of three parts: story (fabel),  facts, and games. The illustration were cartoon and natural. The book series consisted of 2 books: Marine and terrestrial animals. The book were published by Lentera Buah Hati Publisher and called Storypedia.

Poster Design for Conservation International Indonesia Program

Finally the poster design for Conservation Indonesia has finished. The poster is describing about catchment area especially in North Sumatra. This is the second collaboration between me and the CI Indonesia. A couple years ago, I worked with them in illustrating and editing the Papua Ecosystem Book for Children. Hopefully, we will work again in the future.
